The garden of Happiness | 2019

The garden of Happiness, explores the complex relationship between representation of women’s bodies in physical space, literature, poetry, and the politics of gender. The work utilizes textile, afghan-handmade embroidery fabrics, painting, and site-specific installation to investigate the political, social and personal conditions of female identity in contemporary Islamic culture.
